The designer tested the potential of DWS 3D printers by creating a pair of stylish contemporary glasses, by manipulating shapes and how thicknesses and geometries are modelled.
The product was printed using a DW 030X from Invicta DL380 resin.
After printing, the frame and arms were washed for two minutes in water-alcohol solution, then placed in the UV curing unit for 20 minutes. Supports were removed and the surrounded area lightly sanded, then the parts were electroplated in gold, and the lenses and screws fitted.
